OK, I'm back. So 3 cars set off on a 10-hour (it's 8 hours drive, plus a total of 2 hours of toilet breaks and lunch) trip. Blah Blah Blah yadda yadda yadda TIIIIIIIME SKIIIIIP!!
10 hours later:
So, we reached the hotel known as 'Century Pines'. Checked in, stuff happened. Our room is double decked (its a suite. Sweeeet.) so downstairs is a sofa that converts into a bed, a television, sink, toilet, refrigerator and other things like soap and a closet. Upstairs is two super-single beds positioned close enough that it becomes a king-size bed, plus another TV, toilet and other stuff like soap and a closet.Beef.
Left the hotel for a walk and dinner (we left the hotel about 7pm). Had Chinese food and stuff (yuck) and walked along the streets and bought some stuff that I don't remember. And my cat fell up a tree so I called pizza hut for an extra order of cheese on my fries with a large hippopotatomus TIIIIIIIME SKIIIIIP!!
We slept.
ITS THE SIZE OF A 30 INCH BUILDING!!!!!
If I said feet, that last line would stink.
NEEEXT DAAAAAAAAAAAAY
Woke up to the sound of having too many paragraphs in my posts and jumped out of bed and scared the neighbours. Not really. Had breakfast, snapped pictures, and got in the car to go to pick strawberries. Speaking of strawberries, I took 308 pictures with my dad's DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex).Basically, its a fancy camera that pros use. No, I'm not a pro (yet XD) but I figured that honing my skills with a DSLR would be better than using a point-and-shoot conventional digital camera, or a phone camera (ew). Then stuff happened.
Lunch then went to the bee farm or something then a butterfly park (which, strangely, also had snakes, lizards, beetles and other insects[which were, of course, in cages] like the king grasshopper that's 30cm which is big for in insect) dinner then slept(short day, mostly cause I cant remember anything) AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! MY MEMORY IS FAILING MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
3rd day
Again, woke up.
Again, breakfast.Again, got in the car
Not again(finally), went to the rose park that not only had roses, but other flowers and animals (not being random here, there were rabbits and turkeys and snakes [in cages]).
After which we went to the BOH tea plantation to look at tea, drink tea, and admire the vast tea plantation (It stretches over mountians!). The rider there was extremely precarious. The road was an old one with hardly any barriers on the slope side of the mountain and the road was so narrow at times that if two cars met head to head, one of them would have to move back pretty far back to have enough space for both to just make it past each other. And twice, we encountered a tractor almost twice as big as our car. Once on the way down, once on the way back up. Then went to this Time Tunnel-thingy which is a museum and my post is getting too long.
Again, dinner
Again, went to bed (to sleep, of course)
2nd last day
Nothing much, didn't go anywhere cuz it's a 10-hour trip back to Singapore (my family didn't go back yet, we stayed at KL for a night) so we ate breakfast, packed our bags; you know the drill.
Drove down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down
and then some people from the other two cars got out to barf (no one from my family did, YAY)
and we kept driving down and down (you can skip this)and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down and down till we drove and drove and drove and drove and drove and drove and drove and drove and drove and drove and drove and drove and drove and drove and drove and drove to Kuala Lumpur (capital of Malaysia) for lunch then bid our farewells to the other two families. My family then drove for an hour before finding out hotel and settled in for a while, then at around 4pm (we reached the hotel approx 3+pm) my siblings and I went for a swim in the pool (the hotel is in a building on the 5th floor[possibly other people use the first few floors], therefore the pool was on the 5th floor and it's high up so as you can guess, the pool is really cold) for about an hour, went up to the suite (its a really big room, it's got 2 bedrooms, one has a king-size bed, the other 2 super singles, 2 bathrooms, television [useless, all there was were Malay and Cantonese channels] a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and a workspace. Basically you can live there) to shower and change and go out for dinner. And I have a habit of over-using brackets. Dinner then slept.
Lastest day (finally!)Ate breakfast, showered, went to shop then checked out before going for more shopping. Had lunch at a Hakka restaurant then went to KLCC (a shopping center) to look at the aquarium and then got to a cafe called Chocolate (I think) and had a 'Ms coco frappe' (at least that's what they called it on the menu) which is a frappe that's choc full (gettit?) of chocolate. After my intense sugar rush, I managed to actually SIT in the car as we drove off. Reached SG at 11pm (we would have gotten there by 10pm, but my dad made a wrong turn) and then I hit the sack.
Okay thats it and by this time you are either: 1; (amazingly) read through the whole thing and understood (probably 5% of the population), 2; read the whole thing but couldn't make out anything/ understood some parts (probably 40% of the population) or, 3; skipped nearly everything whether or not you understood(55% of the population)
Just 1 picture before I go, I think this was one of the best of my shots. Its a close-up of tea leaves with a whole moutain range of tea plantiations behind.
This has been 'Travelling Abroad', I'm your host, Trevor Ring Everiwhere.
